Problem Note 43469: In SAS® Enterprise Guide® 4.3, the Characterize Data task does not generate complete output if the Asian label of the data is more than 30 characters

In SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3, the Characterize Data task cannot generate complete output if the double-byte character set (DBCS) label of the data is longer than 30 characters. Some observations are cut off without any error or warning message.
To replicate the problem in SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3, do the following:
- Select Tasks ► Describe ► Characterize Data.
- Click to select a SAS data set and click Next.
- In the dialog box, under Output Types, select the Summary Report check box. Click Next.
- Select the Limit categorical values check box. Make sure that the value of Maximum number of unique categorical values to be reported per variable is 30.
- Click Finish.
The output displays only part of the data.
